Voor wie is ademwerk?

In welke gevallen raden jullie een sessie af?

Helaas zijn er enkele gevallen waarin deelname aan dit soort transformationele ademwerk niet mogelijk is:

Als je momenteel zware medicatie gebruikt.
Bij cardiovasculaire problemen of een hoge hartslag of bloeddruk (boven 140/90).
Als je een voorgeschiedenis hebt van epilepsie.
Na een recente operatie.
Bij netvliesloslating.
Als je lijdt aan schizofrenie, een andere extreme stoornis of psychose.
Bij een bipolaire depressie.

Ik heb geen grote trauma’s of heftige dingen meegemaakt, is het ook voor mij?

We kunnen regelmatig onszelf met andere vergelijken en dan denken dat wat wij hebben meegemaakt wel meevalt. Gedachten als “ik heb nergens last van” of “ik mag mij niet aanstellen in vergelijking tot wat anderen meemaken/hebben ervaren”. Je hoeft geen grote heftige dingen meegemaakt te hebben om te ervaren dat er dingen zijn die je tegenhouden. Van kinds af aan leren wij bepaalde gedragingen, gedachtenpatronen aan die ons vormen. Veelal om ons te beschermen in de situatie van die tijd. Ervaar je dat aangeleerde overtuigingen, bepaalde gedachten je nu niet meer dienen? Doe je soms dingen die eigenlijk niet in lijn zijn met wat je werkelijk vindt/denkt? Ervaar je spanningen of bepaalde pijntjes in je lichaam? Het zou heel goed kunnen dat je baat hebt bij ademsessies. Heb je vragen voor jou specifiek; kom in contact!

Wat is het voordeel van regelmatig een sessie doen?

Al bij een eenmalige sessie heb je meestal heel veel baat. Hiernaast heb je er – net als bij vele sporten, yoga, meditatie – veel profijt aan om het regelmatig te doen. Of dat je nou veel wilt verwerken, gewoon wilt ontspannen of dat je jezelf blijvend wilt opschonen. Onbewust slaan we veel op in ons lichaam en nemen wij veel mee in onze bagage. Het opschonen hiervan gaat het beste bij meerdere sessies (eventueel in combinatie met andere vormen van (lichaams-)werk waar jij de voorkeur bij hebt). Consistent ademsessies blijven doen heeft grote voordelen op je algehele gezondheid.
